| | | | | | Jamie Moyer | | On the edge of the spotlight, that's where you find Jamie Moyer! Starting in church, Jamie was singing by the age of five and soon fell in love with the amazingly diverse music of the 60's. By age 10, he was a singer in a rock and roll band. As a bassist/vocalist since 1971, Jamie has supported some of the country's best singers, musicians and songwriters over a career that has spanned nearly 40 years. From his beginnings in central Pennsylvania through the highways and back roads of America, Jamie Moyer has entertained crowds throughout New England, Nashville, Las Vegas and Southern California. | | Able to step up and command an audience with his infectious stage performance, but content to allow others to shine while he provides a solid groove. Jamie Moyer has shared the stage with major country stars like George Strait, Whispering Bill Anderson, Ronnie Robbins & The Marty Robbins Band, Rosanne Cash, Charlie McClain and Lynn Anderson, as well as rock royalty such as Eddie Money, Blue Oyster Cult, Asia and Holding Pattern. Jamie even appeared in the major motion picture, Casino, as the bassist in the Jerry Vale Orchestra. | | During June 2006, Jamie brought his talents to The Ranch Rockers. He also set sail in a new direction during October 2006 when he began playing a newly created instrument known as an NS/Stick, which is a combination of an electric guitar, a bass guitar and a synthesizer. Jamie also writes and records his own music, and records with Florida's Christian/gospel artist Gary Ward. For more information on Jamie, please visit his website here. |
