Oak Grove is a nonprofit educational and residential treatment center serving 160 children, ages 5 to 18.  We provide 24 hour care for 76 of these children in our three campus dormitories.  Oak Grove is a fully accredited Jack Weaver School. Children come to Oak Grove with a variety of psychological, social, emotional, behavioral and academic problems, and many of the children have suffered physical or sexual abuse, neglect and serious family conflict.
Oak Grove is committed to helping these children overcome their problems so they can become productive, responsible adults. Working with multi platinum award winner Stacey Dove Daniels, the Musician’s Workshop, The Temecula Arts Council, the GAP Grant and Dorland Arts we have found that as our at-risk youth experience the power of the arts, amazing things can happen including healing, greater confidence and self-esteem, freedom in self-expression and positively connecting with others.
Stacey Dove Daniels has worked with this special population for the past 3 years at Oak Grove and our dream is to begin raising funds for the Oak Grove Performing and Literary Arts Center which will be under her direction.
Additionally, Andrew Davis with Dorland Arts is preparing the students for a Gallery showing in the Mercantile during this event.
